Random Thoughts

That's exactly what is being tossed about in my mind for past 2-3 weeks - "Random Thoughts". Even this new post is the result of one. Now, what led to this new post ? I will explain it as a chain of events.

Wasting time on Orkut is on of my random interests. And while excessively Orkutting and getting bored, I came across Facebook (Wastebook would be more apt). And after observing that, the only PLUS for Facebook was its applications, I was wondering, why Orkut hasnot incorporated the same. And on further search, I found that Orkut is testing out its applications.

Googling and venturing deep into Orkut Help, Orkut Groups etc etc, I found that if the Country is changed to India, you get the applications. And lo behold, I had them on my left frame. I added the feeds, added the applications and waited for some action in my otherwise sundry Orkut life.

As usual, nothing happened. Couldnt make out how the feeds work. And seems, the applications in Orkut arenot catching up among its users. That track was slowly trailing off.

And that's when, Aamir Khan mentioned about Shahrukh licking his feet. (which I found through Rediff, another of my random timepass :-P). And further googling, revealed to me, Amitabh has a blog, Aamir has and so does Rahul Bose, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu. And in between, I came across countless other blogs, the comments on the stuff published and so on.

And thus began, the search for a blogging platform. Safaron ki zindagi jo kabhi khatam nahi ho jaati he. After many a blogs, viz, Ibibo, Bigadda, Indyarocks, Blog, Rediffland, Indiatimes etc, I decided to continue in this one itself. During the quest for a blog platform, I came across a link which advised on 'how to access blogger and blogspot' which were blocked in China. And thus, the barrier broken, I ventured forth and here I am.

Well, getting a starting post in wasnt difficult. Lets see if I can find (more) interesting topics to yakyak on.

And till then, let me get some work done !!!
